Role Summary

• We’re seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and execute our Nigeria market entry and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration for BigGain animal feeds.
• Build and manage a high-performance sales team (reps, distributors, and channel partners); set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts: poultry farms, poultry integrators, feed mills, agro-dealers, cooperatives, and government/agriculture bodies.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives: promotions, product launches, demos, trade shows, farmer education programs, and digital campaigns.
• Expand distribution networks and ensure optimal product availability, pricing, and on-time delivery.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory considerations to inform product positioning and pricing.
• Collaborate with Production and Supply Chain to align demand planning with capacity and quality standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulatory and quality standards; uphold health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Represent BigGain with integrity and professionalism at industry events and in all customer interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 7 years of sales/marketing experience in animal feeds, agriculture, or related sectors; minimum 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Proven track record of growing sales, expanding distribution networks, and achieving targets in Nigeria or West Africa.
• Deep knowledge of poultry/livestock production, feed formulations, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria; valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office; fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in export/trade or cross-border distribution.
• Familiarity with feed manufacturing processes or agri-input sectors.
