Head of Supply Chain

We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Supply Chain Manager for a leading FMCG company based in Colombo. An established and internationally recognized food manufacturing organization is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across local and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, planning, manufacturing coordination, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
• Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives
• Manage strategic sourcing activities (local and international)
• Optimize inventory management, warehousing, and working capital
• Ensure OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery and high service standards
• Lead S&OP and demand planning processes
• Implement ERP/SAP and digital supply chain solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean practices, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth and customer satisfaction

Candidate Requirements:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline
• MBA or postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
• 10–15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong exposure to FMCG or food manufacturing environments
• Proven track record in cost reduction and operational excellence
• Experience in import sourcing and export operations
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and digital transformation initiatives
